    updating libxorg-x11


    I am currently running on libxorg-x11-6.7.0-2mdk, I would like to update to libxorg=x11-6.8.1-0.00.1mdk

    I am using Mandrake 10.1

    Could someone tell me how I can make this upgrade?

    The only way you can do it is to d/l the CVS tree for 6.8.1, then make; make install. You should problably be in init 3 to do this. Make sure to run Xorgconfig after you've restarted.

    I did it and I didn't really see a significant difference. Good luck!
