    Updating Mandriva

    I have a 2007 version Mandriva installed in 2008 but have been used off line until today (24 May 2009). Now I am able to go on line with Mandriva 2007 but need to know which place to go to, to update MANDRIVA to the current version.

    You can check this wiki page for instructions on upgrading Mandriva using URPMI, but you might be better off doing a fresh install.

    Updating MANDRIVA via fresh instal

    Hey Thanks so much for the advise. When I do a fresh instal of the latest MANDRIVA will my calender, Notes, to do list and directory of contacts remain intact or will those info be lost?
