I am also having a hastle getting my new Mandriva 2009.1 install to accept a static ip from the config GUI (network center). I set it up as manual and 192.168.0.3 - but it dosn't stick when i reboot. Using NFS and need the static ip.
Looked for /etc/network (most recerntly coming from Kubuntu) no such directory. Can anyone tell me where the network config files are?- Clouds don't crash - Bertrand Meyer
