Problems using svgalib
Hi everyone,I've recently Mandriva 2009.1 Spring Editiion in my desktop.
I need to run graphics related c programs as its part of my course in college.It was required that i install svgalib and related headers..
I installed them and the programs get compiled successfully using the command:
gcc -lvga <prog_name.c>
but the problem is that i get the following error messages wen i try to run the ./a.out file.
You must be the owner of the current console to use svgalib.
Not running in a graphics capable console,
and unable to find one.
Using VIA Unichrome driver, 16384KB.
svgalib 1.9.25

I did run the file logged in as root..But i dunno why this error is caused. Please help me out..
