any progress?
So Jeremy??
Any progress on Printer Drives for the i950?
My enire Linux expereince/experimenting kind of came to an end once I discovered that I could'n t hook up my printer.
I can't run a system that doesn't have a way to print.

Don,
I can still use my printer just fine. As a quick fix, the BJ7004 works great fro printing documents, and so-so for picutres w/ a border. There's a tutroial here that I plan on checking out (eventually) to get those drivers we're playing with working. Mostly involves a bunch of sym links. It's Debian specific, but still applies...

If you try it, let me know. (I'll do the same)

Thanks for the additional information.
Unfortuneatly, my primary use for the i950 is to print photographs.
(That's why I bought a 6 color printer).
Heck, I had no trouble hooking up my HP 2100TN LaserJet through its ethernet connection.
I will follow you links and hope that a solution can be developed.

If you're willing to pay, I've heard great things about TurboPrint:

I'll check out the demo and let you know.
