    updating java in mandriva 2007

    I am new to linux and i have the mandriva 2007 installed with updates. I am trying to get the java runtime environment to run as a plugin under mozilla. any advice would be great.

    I wonder why you use old distribution. I think attleast in 2009.1 it worked pretty much out of the box.
