HELP ON ADSL USB MODEM FOR MANDRAKE 9.2

Please, anyone help me
I'm a newbie in Mandrake, and i need an internet connection,
the adsl modem i'm using is a ZyXEL prestige 630-c series
i really don't know how to make it work on linux
easy explanations are appreciated

have you tried to configure internet access through the mandrake system configuration thingy? i'm not sure exactly where it's located, but i'm guessing from kde, click the K menu -> Settings -> Configure Your System or something similar to that. you'll need to provide the root password and then click the internet icon. it should take you through a wizard to set it up. tell me if this info is correct.
