    N00b needs help with installing anything


    Hi guys I'm new to Linux all together and i can't get anything working. The reason is whenever I try to install packages it looks for the mandrake cds on hdb not my cdrom. Im using 10.1 beta 2. Any solutions?

    generally hdb is your cdrom

    I have this problem on my box with more then one CDROM. Frequently I am prompted to insert a disc into CDROM when in reality I need to insert it into DVDROM. Do you have more then one CDROM?

    Even better, if you have highspeed on-line, setup URPMI and bypass the CD's all together.
