Problems installing 10.0 on my presario 2500
when i get to the install screen it freezes when it comes to usb. i also remember i had a similar problem when i was using knoppix. but with knoppix i could just use the failsafe command to skip most of the hardware detection. is there a command i can use to skip the detection of my usb ports? or is there another solution so that i can still detect them?

When the Mandrake CD boots up choose "more options" by pressing <F1>. Then you can start the installation with the 'noauto' option by typing:
