    Not to worry, yet: it just needs some fine tuning. Get the basic system operating correctly and then you can work with the display in the X configuration. For recent releases, I think it's /etc/X11/xorg.conf But before you do that, I'd recommend setting up to boot to runlevel 3 (text mode) while working with display settings.

    Sorry guys, I had to do it... I reloaded FC1 and it went flawlessly.
    As I learn more about linux, I will return to Mandrake.
    I'm even writing thie on FC1
