new video card not working
i just purchased an msi N210 md512H video card. i am running mandriva 2010.0 and it just goes to a screen with colors all over and then sits there. is there a fix or is it that this card is compatible thank you.
i think it has an nvidia chip set

When the screen goes all wonky, does hitting CTRL+ALT+F1 get you to a console log in screen?
If so, log in as root and launch Mandriva's graphics configuration tool.
Or you can boot into a console to do the same. I think for Mandriva, at the GRUB screen hit F3, select default, then enter 3 (for runlevel 3).Code:xfdrake
