ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found
Hallo to all,
i'm a Linux's low level user. My distribution is Mandriva 2010.
When my young daugther ask me to activate bluetooth in our PC i panicked.
After reading some documentation i downloaded Kbluetooht 4.2.
I decompressed the tar.bz2 file and typed the command cmake install.
The result was this
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:98 (MESSAGE):
ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in
/root/.kde4/share/apps;/var/lib/mandriva/kde4-profiles/one/share/apps;/var/lib/mandriva/kde4-profiles/common/share/apps;/usr/share/apps
Call Stack (most recent call first):
CMakeLists.txt:17 (find_package)
I searched with google to know what to do and I discovered i need some KDE libraries.
I searched in Mandriva computer manager but i didn't find anything which was able to help me.
Is there anyone can help me?
Thanks
Fabrizio

Are you using the KDE desktop or GNOME? Both should have bluetooth capabilities out of the box.
kbluetooth should be available via your package manager as well. Much easier than trying to build it yourself.
Look in the Add/Remove software, or do
Code:su -c 'urpmi kbluetooth'

It should have something. Make sure you have all the available repositories.
Easy Urpmi
Oh, and it may be that you need to specify the full path for urpmi
or just log in as rootCode:su -c '/sbin/urpmi kbluetooth'
Code:su - urpmi kbluetooth

Dear Reed9 thanks a lot for your help.
The command urpmi worked very well, but i found another problem.
The program don't work because it don't recognize the USB bluetooth device.
( I'm at work and i don't remember the error message now. Here we use Windows and my PC is at home.)
In the Mandriva Control Center
Browse and configure hardware
i've my USb bluetooh device in the Unknown/Others category.
I think's better change the device.
Thanks again for all and see you.

I'm afraid I don't own any bluetooth devices, so I'm not too familiar with the rest.
Connect the device and provide the output of
Code:lsusb hcitool dev
