Kontact

I feel like this is either a stupid question, or a sure mark of a previous windows user. But how do I sent the mail server for outgoing/ingoing mail on kontact?

Make sure you're in the mail page, then click on settings, then click on configure kmail. From there, it's on the networking tab. That's the way that Kontact is setup. It's not one program, but rather one program that manages and exchanges data between several others (kmail, korganizer, kpilot, knotes, etc..). You configure each seperate' program by first selecting it from the task bar on the left, then selecting it from the settings menu.
