Any one know the command to turn off monitor.
Does anyone know a command to turn off the monitor. Or maybe u have a script to do so. I have been getting into c++ and using the 'system()' function. I like making my own buttons to do certain stuff. So anyone?

xset -display :0 dpms force off

Thanks. It worked. But the problem arises is that it is automatically turned on after a small time. Please give a reply and also comment about how turn on monitor from off position
