IS there any other WAY!!!!!!
hi ..Guys..

i just want to ask if there is any other way to install an copressed archive other than :
./configure
make
make install ...
i downloaded "BitTorrent-5.3-GPL.tar.gz" and this the steps that i've taken (using 'bash' in MANDRIVA DIstr) :
[bash]# tar -xvzf BitTorrent-5.3-GPL.tar.gz
[bash]#cd BitTorrent-5.3-GPL
[bash]# ls
BitTorrent_mainline_library_python.tar BitTorrent_mainline_python.tar
[bash]# tar -xf BitTorrent_mainline_python.tar
[bash]# tar -xf BitTorrent_mainline_library_python.tar
inside the two resulting DIRs i didn't find the "configure" file
in this case how i am suppose to install each one of them?????

Isn't there any Readme or Install file having installation instructions? Most of packages have one of those files.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
