need help running apache
i am trying to change over from win 2000 to mandrake 10.1. I installed mandrake but don't even know where to find apache webserver which i also installed? any help is appreciated.

If it installed with mandrake you can most likly just turn it on by typing "service httpd start". apache service is called httpd.
As far as I know the default root dir for the webserver is found at /var/www/html. So just pop an index.html file in there to get started with a webpage.
The config file for it is found in /etc/httpd/conf. Just edit httpd.conf to adjust settings.
