    keyboard lock up if pressing shift + space toghetere. I do that often after dot, when starting with capital letter. Changed the keyboard, still does the same!

    Any ideas?Worked fine under windows....

    Do you have to reboot on keyboard lock up or it become normal after a while? Check keyboard shortcuts. You might have assigned shift+space key combination to some package or event.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
