    how to remove programs from STARTUP?

    I have a soft krfb I think a desktop shareware I want to uninstall. I've been to instal//uninstall pannel and removed it but it still loads. Doesn't linux have a startup manager console or something ?

    suppose the offender is called "foobar"

    cd /
    rm `find . -name foobar`

    that should get rid of it
