    color problem, please help.

    i recently switched from windows xp to mandrake 9.2. There is one thing that i noticed, the color detail has decreased.I can only get up to 16 million colors (24 bits), but in windows xp, the color was perfect and gradients were smooth. does anyody know how i can fix this problem and have the colors preform to their best abilitiy? thanks.

    First I suggest you go w/ 10.0 Official or later. A whole lot of things were fixed and improved. Second, what kind of video card do you have? Most issues like that can be fixed with a driver update. Next, do you have a flat panel? You might just need to adjust it some.
