[SOLVED] minimized windows
Hello,
I am a new Linux user, a beginner, I've just had Mandriva installed properly.
I have a problem, windows don't appear in the main panel, so I lose them whenever they are minimized (but of course I can use alt+Tab).. so any solution to make them appear in the panel?

Which version of Mandriva do you have installed? Are you using the KDE or Gnome version? Did you you verify the download and the burned CD/DVD?I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Yes everything is OK with the installation.

You could try moving/renaming your ~/.kde4 directory and see if that helps. It will create a new one when you log in.

problem solved
I deleted the contents that can be deleted of the directory .kde4 using rm -r command. it works, the problem is solved.
