Windows (not the operating system..the things with icons...)
I use GNOME 2.6 as my window manager, but it opens a new window for every icon i click, like windows 95 used to do!
ie, if i go to computer, filesystem, /usr.... then i have 3 windows open allready before I even open a file!
Anyone know how to change this to opening in the same window? Ive looked arround but cant see it anywhere!
Thanks

open a window (ex. home)
go to edit, and then preferences
open the behavior tab
now uncheck the "open activated item in new window" option
hope that helps!Registered Linux User Number 373366
