future linux newbie need help with install

I am trying once again to get this installed I will keep working at it unless it is determined that this pc will not run Mandriva, I have tried ubuntu and a couple of unbuntu distros I gave up on them. I have even tried linux mint.
Cant get any of them to run.
Mandriva maybe my last hope. I will have to use windows some for my apps. I create 3d models for games and animations and so on, but want use linux for everything else so dual boot is a must.
Below is info. about my pc.

I had to burn an iso because the dvd seemed to be running to fast and the install could not find the data.
I booted into the cd choose install. and this is the last info I had on the screen.

It's a rare error and has been reported as Software Bug. Which package did you use to burn .iso image? Have you tried to burn .iso image with at lowest possible speed supported by your CD Burner?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
