Mount problems in Mandriva
Hi all !
The problem is on computers with Mandriva 2010.
We have a group of computers connected to network by DHCP; three of them are exporting some directories to others. The problem is that when any client is rebooted the NFS mount isn't executed.
The debugging shows the following messages:
mount.nfs: Unable to connect to 192.168.161.12:111, errno 101 (Network is unreachable)
mount.nfs: mount to NFS server '192.168.161.12' failed: System Error: Network is unreachable
mount.nfs: can't get address for client37
As you see the problem exists both for IP numbers and for host names.
I created script "/etc/rc.local" that checks the mounted directories count and if needed waits for 20 sec. and starts command "mount -a" - the effect is the same - nothing mounted.
But if I execute the command "mount -a" from console - the directories are immediately mounted !!!
I repeat - the effect is not on one computer, but on a group of about 10 computers with different kernels (from 2.6.17-5mdv to 2.6.29.3-server-1mnb).
May be somebody can explain this problem.
Thank you.
