Hey all
Where can I go online to check and upgrade the software I have on my machine?
I know there's a few things I need to get everything working properly, but I'm hoping that there's a waty of checking that automatically...

You can use the Mandrake Control Center. Under software management, there's an icon called updates.

go to :
www.easyurpmi.zarb.org/
choose ur the version of ur OS and the mirrors u like , then copy and paste the commands generated
after that theupdate is finnished
type :
urpmi --auto-select --no-verify-rpm --auto (to install the updates )

And if you get errors, you can check /var/cache/urpmi/rpm for the downloaded files and then using urpmi, manually add individual packages.
Careful with the command line though. There's an update for urpmi that breaks the rpm installation on 9.1 pretty badly. Now I manually apply upgrades after using urpmi --auto-select to download new software.
