How to install nVIDIA Graphic card driver in Mandriva 2011
Hello Friends.
I am new to Mandriva 2011. Although used Mandriva in 2008 but could not understand Linux and discontinued its use. Have installed Mandriva 2011 just few hours back (but still a newbie as far as Linux commands are concerned) and trying to enable desktop effects since this installation.
I have Dual Boot system: Win 7 + Mandriva 2011. Dell Optiplex 330, Intel Core2 Duo. nVIDIA 8400GS Graphic Card.
I opened Mandriva Linux Control Center and installed the following three:
1. dkms-nvidia-current-280.13
2. nvidia-current-doc-html-280.13
3. x11-driver-video-nvidia-current-280.13
How should I proceed further?
Please help me in correctly configuring this driver.
Thanks in advance.

When I open nVIDIA X Server Settings it displays the following error:
"You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server."
How can I do this?
Please help me.
