Tunderbird and installation
Okay,

What are the steps to install this application? Thanks in advance.

Just extract the contents of the file to wherever you'd like. Either with ark, or from the console, use "tar -xvf (filename of thunderbird file) (location to install it to)". I prefer /usr/lib myself (the files will extract themselves into a seperate Thunderbird folder), but it's up to you where you want to put it. Then, from where you extracted it, go into the thunderbird folder and run the 'thunderbird' init script.
Too bad Mozilla never developed a Linux installer for the program like they did with Firefox.
