    "L 99 99 99..." error

    i have a prob, while i was using my PC on win xp i restarted it and blank screen with "L 99 99 99......" appears on my screen and windows can't load. (I used to have mandrake 9.2 installed one month ago)
    What can i do?

    ok check to make sure your linux hard drive is connected properly, cuz that is the message LILO returns when I can't find it's config files on the Linux parition. if that's not it, to make it so you can at least access your windows drives pop in the mandrake cd, hit F1 for more options, type in "rescue" and select fix master boot record or restore windows boot record or something like that. the XP install cd can do the same thing with fixmbr in the recovery console.
