    help installing mandriva pwp

    trying to install mandriva after issues with mint, but i get error saying no cdrom device found, then gives me list to chose a driver from?
    says which driver should i try to gain MEDIA access?
    if i pick one it asks for parameters?

    any help please im a newbee

    Do you have some funky kind of CD-ROM drive? why not try another popular linux distro first? Maybe Fedora or Ubuntu. You can try them in Live mode first - this way, you can just see if your drive is working properly. You also might find you like one of them instead...
