    internet connection

    Newbie. Downloaded Mandrakelinux 10.1 Official. Problems configuring internet during download. Read in a manual that I should go to MCC by selecting Configuration menu in KDE and then use Wizard. Slight hitch: my KDE doesn't have a Configuration menu. It has a System menu which has a Configuration sub-menu but there's no option to get to MCC. Where has it gone? Any help appreciated.

    Can you open up a terminal if so
    type su
    then your root password
    then mcc

    If it wil not come up you may have a bad install
