Binary installation? Help Plz
Hi,
I just recently downloaded nedit and some other files and they are all binary installations. A bunch of files zipped up together. I know i could get self installing but i want to learn how to do it this way as well.
how do i get those installed?

First, become root.
Then, unzip the filesCode:su
This should create a new directory. Change to the newly created directoryCode:gunzip filenname.zip
Execute the binariesCode:cd filename
