PCMCIA Cdrom drive problems...
Hi
I have a targus NW24XCD Cdrom drive that is connected through my PCMCIA slot and I seem to be having problems with it.
I know that it works because I installed linux with it.
The problem is that I cant access anything on cdrom disks.
I used KdiskFree to try and mount the drive and it gives me the following error:
Called: mount /dev/hdc
/dev/hdc: Input/output error
mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified
Please help! I need my music!
Also feel free to ask me any questions because I am probably not being clear, but it is my frist day with mandrake and I love it!
Thanks in advace,
Nikosapi (a.k.a. the super newbie!)

okay
you don't "mount" an audio cd. rather you use something like cdp or something similar which can play audio cds. audio cds are handled completely differently from data cds, and afaik, don't even go to the processor for the actual "playing"
