Problem with installation of modem drivers for Mandrake 9.2

I have just purchased a PCI Internal HaM v2 (XH1154) modem and am unable to install the drivers for it. HardDrake has detected the modem but I have no idea how to install the drivers.

Does anyone know how to get Mandrake to work with this modem ? is there an easy way to install these drivers ?

I can get it to work on $windows, but would rather be using Linux.....

    Thank in adv.....

Yay !! - after some mucking around I got the thing working:

Download & Install the kernel-source which contained the header files - Package kernel-source-2.4.22-10mdk.i586.rpm

Downloaded a new driver from Intel
    intel-536ep-4.69-mdk10-smp.tgz

unpacked the above package and ran the following:

    make clean
    make 536
    make install

The original driver that came with the modem would not compile for some reason - the one I downloaded from Intel (intel-536ep-4.69-mdk10-smp.tgz) worked fine - just had to muck around with the ISP settings a bit before I got it working smooth.

I am just glad I have this working now - hope this help someone else that has the same probs....

    Cheers
