Pls help!Install Mdk10.1 smoothly, but cannot boot up!
I installed mdk10.1 smoothly on my laptop ACER 1861 wlmi(1.5G centrino+bluetooth+DVDRW+15.4 widescreen), but after I reboot, it just show BIOS check ok and no response then, I tried several times, always cannot boot up. By the way, I choose ACPI enable in the LILO configuration during installation, is this cause the problem? because the computer stopped at ACPI check.
Anybody encounted the same problem?
waiting for reply...thanks

ACPI is a complicated in Linux. At best, you're looking at 50/50. Boot to run-level 3 and change the ACPI option in lilo to off (remember to run lilo -v to enable the change). If it boots, then you know this is the problem. After that, you can fine tune ACPI to get it working.
