    ATi Radeon X600 problem..


    Hello everyone!

    I won't lie. I am a classic Windows user. Although in the past years I have made several attempts to pass to Linux for all its advantages that are posted every day in the Net. I tried with Mandrake and SuSe since it is said that are user-friendly. The problem that was always made me return to Windows is ...Drivers...
    I decided to try again last week installing Mandrake but my brand new "powerful" (in Windows) graphics card won't cooperate with Mandrake. I hafve found reading lists with the issues that Linux has with this graphics card and I tried several things... the new drivers from Ati (which I can get to work) but nothing worked... ... The only thing I managed is to use a 800x600 pseudo-environment using xf86config (Generic Vesa..).
