    mandrake linux 10.1 problems..

    as the MAJOR linux noob i am i have some questions about the installation of mandrake linux 10.1....
    i downloaded it as dvd(1cd) and unzipped it....after i done that i burn a dvd with it....but now the **** wont boot!! what am i supposed to do?

    Did you just burn a disc with the .iso file on it , or did you burn from the .iso, producing a disc full of files and directories?

    What software did you use to burn the DVD?

    i burned it with nero...and i downloaded it directlyto the desktop...so i didnt notice the iso file at first...so first i burned 1dvd with all the zipped ****...and after i tried that i noticed the iso file...so i burned that to and tried...am i supposed to have both on the same disc?
