    Could the problem be caused by the fact that I only used the first CD for the install? How come during installation it asks you which CD's you want to install from?

    Here is the error I get at the end of the install on CD1. It occurs during the "Install System" stage.

    An error occurred
    Error opening RPM database : cannot open
    Packages database in /mnt/var/lib/rpm

    Ok I tried taking out one of the processors and I'm still having the exact same issues with speed. Is there any way to slow down the clock at all?
