When trying to install packages, i.e. network printer, the system asks for my dvd, but it asks for it in my cdrom drive, instead of my dvd rom drive.
How can i get it to read from the dvd rom drive?
My cdrom drive is hdc /mnt/hdc while my dvdrom is hdd /mnt/hdd.
Thanks

(Assuming your using MDK 10.0+)You can change this in Mandrake Control Center in the Hardware section. There's a DVD-Rom wizard that will allow you to set it up correctly.

Sorry to bring this topic up again, but i'm having the same problem and cannot find the Wizard you talk about.
I'm using the Mandriva Free Linux 2006; will this work?
Thank You.
