By KDE, do you mean konqueror? If KDE was crashing, you wouldn't have any GUI, just CLI.

KDE 3.3 isn't included by default yet - It does tend to crash in 10.1. Did you change from the default 3.2.3?
If it's Konqueror let us know, but I'm not really surprised if it is KDE3.3

how do i know if it is kde 3.3 and how do i change from that version to 3.2
