Noob as from today
Hi everyone, this is my first time using linux i thought i would check it out as i am getting p#*#ed of with windows crashing every 2 secs anyways i decided to install mandrakelinux 10.1 my first thought wow how much different it is then i ran into my first major problem getting my connection to the net i have looked everywhere for instructions and info on installing my Bt voyager modem came accross EciAdsl drivers which they dont have a gd tutorial on there site i tried it but failed i also have lying about a Bt voyager 105 modem also if that 1s easier to install please could some1 point me in the right direction its a right pain keep comming from windows to linux every time i want to get some info off the net :S

Why dont you try using these eciadsl drivers
http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/modems.php?modem=71
and use them with your BT Voyager 105 modem. There site seems to be in french or somthing, but they do have a forum / support bit so maybe try looking there for someone whos got the same modem as you!
