10.1 browser problems
I have mandrake 10.1. When I am on a site and try to download a file or watch video, sometimes it works and sometimes it closes all open browser windows. It happens with both firefox and mozilla. Any ideas?

Hi,
My guess is that these sites are designed for IE and not Firefox or Mozilla. That is why it is crashing. Also you could make sure that you have the plugins for watching the videos and stuff. And a last thing you could try is:
goto
System -> Configuration -> KDE -> Web Browsing -> Browser Identification and tell it to notify sites that it is a IE browser on a windows machine. This only fools a few sites.
