    The Xserver does not work

    Hi
    I just moved to Mandrake 10.1 , but for some reason the Xserver doesnt work. If I do startx on the command line, it shows a very very distorted graphical interface where you can hardly notice anything. Can someone please help me with this. My Display screen is a DELL 15" LCD Display. What driver should i use in the XF86Config, if thats where the error is?

    can you post your XF86Config file.

    Hi,
    I was trying to post the XF86Config and it showed page cannot be displayed after i submitted..thats why the 3 same posts. Ans now i dont know how to delete it .. it can only let me edit.

    Anyway,
    My Monitor is a DELL 15" LCD monitor, Model Number 1504FP.
    What do you mean by device?
    Video Card Model Number, I hope this is what you are looking for, is
    Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller.
