Bugs in MDK 10.1 community
Im getting alot of random bugs in my setup.
Opera wont display pages right.
Firefox closes randomly and I cant run it from console.
WMV files wont play.
I cant get more than one device to play sounds simultaneously.
Video Players love to shut down on me.
Its driving me nuts. The only thing I can think of is that I installed too much stuff and they messed each other up. I also installed alot of software from the "install software" menu from the packaging. I also installed software that had incorrect lisences. Does that mess stuff up or what? It is just BS with windows because nothing has a good lisence. Im ripping my hair out over this.
Anyone wanna help?
Is there any way to remove all the software and put it back on?

I'm sure many of these have been fixed by MDK 10.1 official, maybe you should give that a go?

Can you elaborate on some of the problems you're having? What do you mean by "Opera wont display pages right"? What happens when you try to run Firefox from a virtual terminal? What program are you trying to play .wmv files from? etc.

Opera displays pages that are almost all white plus text. All drop down menus are expanded on the screen out of format. It gives me this error when i try and run firefox "/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox-1.0/mozilla-firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libmozjs.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" But that file is in the directory.
Im using Xine, Mplayer, and Kaffeine as a last resort to play videos.
Its making me rip my hair our.

So 10.1 official doesnt want to load. It fails before the setup starts.
I am running an Asus A7N8X mobo. Not delux or anything, just the original.
Anyone know of any known issues w/ this mobo?

What errors do you get? Is it even reading the CD?

What do you mean by this? Is there any evidence of the Mandrake CD actually booting up or does it just spin up and stop? Where does it stop? What's on the screen when it stops?
