I continue to have this problem. I have a DELL 1504FP LCD display and i am using Intel Graphics Controller, with a 8 MB video memory. I am using Mandrake 10.1. When i log in and go to startx... it goes to the display mode but u cannot see anything, everything is very distorted. Can someone please help me with this. Struggling with this for days now. Do i need another driver or sthing, if so from where and how to install it?
