    Configuration mouse problems and others.

    Hi everyone!

I just installed MDk 10.1 and It really surprises me, interface is really friendly, but I have a Problem with the mouse, I installed mdk normally, but when I reboot, the mouse didn't work, so I changed configuration at the control center, but when I reboot again, It doesn't work.

I have to tell you that I have reinstalled and changed configuration several times, but It doesn't work.

On the other hand, I can't loggin as root, when I try to, with the password I defined in the installation it says that user or password are not correct. So I checked the user root and it has a 5 digit password but IU defined a 13 digit password, so I changed but didn't change... the I deleted it and re defined the user as root with the 13 digit password, but didn't changed....

Any answer????? It would be welcome!!!!

    Thankyou

What kind of mouse is it? USB? PS/2? Wireless?

I'm not sure about the rootpassword, but as default MDK will not let you login to the gui as root, try changing this setting in the Mandrake Controle Center, or the normal KDE configeration center.
