    hard drive icons to access from desktop


    When you install Mandrake, are there iconson the desktop that you can open to access your Windows HD to access the files? Like hda, hdb?

    There are usually when you install MDK, but if they don't come up, it's very easy to add them.

    If you cannot manage to get access to them in MDK 10.1 it is probably because the security level is set too high (or even just set to HIGH)
    By default the standard setting in the security level will let you see and mount those drives any higher than level 2 in there and it will deny you permission and disallow changing ownership.
