    Mandrake 10.1 help- Blackscreen after install

    Hi all, i downloaded mandrake 10.1 3 discs and burnt them to disc, i got through the installation process ok, after installation i get a black screen, saying local host login, i know how to do that bit, what do i do afterwards, people told me i type in startx however i get an fatal error: no screens found.

    What do i do, because i am really stuck?

    Any help would be much appreciated

    what happens when you login as root, and type:
    Code:
    XFdrake
    (it could be xfdrake) and hit enter, this should star the setting up of your GUI

    thanks for your help, i ran XFDrake and changed some of the settings,

    i get this error message

    An Error occured:

    (EE) Problem parsingf the config file
    (EE) Error parsing the config file

    Try to change some paramters
