Graphical Desktop
The graphical desktop won't start. . Is there something special i'm supposed to do at install? when i was installing and i tested the graphics configuration @1024x768 70 hz it failed. the graphic driver was 6800 generic(i think it said generic).

What do you mean by this? do you boot into a command line? if so try the
command.Code:startx
Or is it that this didn't work?

You're probably going to have to run XFdrake and find a configuration that will work.hen i was installing and i tested the graphics configuration @1024x768 70 hz it failedThere are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

What happens if you run
try and configure the card so that it uses a smaller resolution.Code:su [rootpass] XFdrake
