    GeForce 4 MX 440 in Mandrake 8.0

    Hello,

    I installed Mandrake 8.0 but when I try to change to XFree86 4.0 it happens that I have to choose my graphic card, in the cards I canīt find GeForce4 and the other kinds of GeForce donīt work. I tried to install nvidia driver but it only works if you have XFree86 4.0 running.
    Has anyone this card running in Mandrake 8.0? I need help

    Dude, you're better off getting something much newer. MDK is on release 10.1.
    Can you at least get X working? I mean, I'm almost certain there's no way you're going to get hardware acceleration out of 8.0 with such a new card. Maybe, though.
