I wanted to install Mandrake Linux PowerPack Edition
9. From my motherboard, I set the first boot from DVD.
Then I inserted 1st disk of that linux. Than a window
came, and said to press enter to install. After
pressing Enter, detected my hardware and said no CDROM
drive. Then I collect a CD rom drive from my friend,
but the result didn’t change.
But I installed this CD to my old one and other PCs.
Please, someone help me to install this.

Go into the mode where you can pass command options to the installer (Advanced setup). Try typing:
alt1
If that doesn't work, try typing
alt1 noapic nolapic
One of these should (I believe) correct the issue.
