    sounds like there might be some required firmware for that driver or something like that.

    ethernet not initialized at boot in Mandrake 10.1

    sry i dont know if i can helpo but ...

    my 2 pcmcia cards always had toruble accesssing the web.. but what i did was :-
    after installing mandrake
    and ten the cards refused to see the web
    i just unplugged the card and replugged it back in
    then ran "lynx www.google.com"

    and everything would be fine.....
    something about the weird pcmcia drivers anyway

    idk if that helps
